Aloha, I’m Laurie.

I’m a versatile designer who approaches projects with both strategic thinking and intuitive understanding of user needs.

My background in client-facing work taught me how to observe patterns in behavior and really listen to what people need. That practice of tuning into underlying needs shapes how I approach user research and design strategy.

I combine empathy and intuition with hands-on experience in UX, web design, SEO optimization, and visual systems. My recent work includes raising a healthcare client's Google ranking from 35th to 4th place through strategic UX and SEO improvements, doubling their clientele.

Seoul-born, Hawai'i-raised, Portland-based. I bring diverse perspectives to every project and love creating work that genuinely connects with people.
